These are simple, homemade raw vegan chocolates, that you can add fresh fruit in for filling! There are no preservatives, and everything is made with the healthiest ingredients. These can also be made sugar free, with the substitution of stevia for the maple syrup. The possibilities for these are endless, so use this recipe as a base, and get creative!
Let us begin!
You will need:
– 1/4 cup cacao butter
– 1/2 cup raw cacao paste
– 1/4 cup coconut oil
– 3 tbsp maple syrup or
- 10 – 15 drops chocolate stevia
– 1/4 cup coconut cream or coconut manna
– You will also need an ice cube tray to use as a chocolate mold, and
– Fresh or frozen fruit such as raspberries or blueberries for topping
Directions:
Melt all ingredients together in a small pot over VERY low heat. Once the mixture is fully melted together, spoon a small amount (about 1 tablespoon size) into each ice cube section. Put the fruit on top an then place in the freezer:
The chocolate will only take about a half hour to harden. Once the chocolates are hard, loosen them from the tray as you would an ice cube, then take out a serve. The chocolates are ready to be eaten!
These chocolates come out chewy and perfect. They taste just like normal chocolate, except much, much better for you!
