Raw Vegan




Eating raw vegan does not have to be boring, tasteless and strictly rabbit food. Once you get used to the idea of eating raw, you will find a whole new world opening up for you, with possibilities for meals you never even considered before! The raw vegan lifestyle encourages you to be creative with dishes by combining textures, colors, and ingredients that weren’t even on your radar before.

Besides the nutritional and physical aspect, eating just one plant based meal per week has a tremendous positive impact on the planet by helping to reduce your carbon footprint. Eating one plant based meal per week you can save 1,100 gallons of water, 45 pounds of grain (that would otherwise be used to feed livestock), 30 square feet of forest, 20 lbs of CO2 and 1 animal’s life.

Growing up in Brazil, a culture that relies heavily on meat as a main staple in your diet, I thought I would never make the switch to vegan, much less raw vegan. But one day I decided to try it, and the way my body reacted both on the outside and the inside, showed me just how powerful a plant based diet could be.

I highly encourage you to just try one meal a week, to see how you like it, and to get over the initial assumptions and rules ingrained on you your whole life, that you need milk to survive and dairy for calcium. Once you change your thought process and open your mind, you may realize the answers to a lot of your ongoing and chronic health conditions were right in front of you the whole time!
