Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is to simply slow down and just be. Life isn’t always about hustling, achieving, and constantly working on self-improvement. It’s okay to pause, breathe, and appreciate the present moment without feeling the pressure to build or achieve something grand.

Pretty sure I almost had a breakdown in April. I left my home in Porto and traveled for a month straight, visiting friends and working in on my visa. I was tired, sleep deprived and anxious.

I’ve been in a new place every week of April. I’m tired of waking up at 3:30, 4, and 5 AM to catch planes. I haven’t been to a gym in a month. I am eating like shit, feel like shit and overall feel a deep sense of loss and sadness not being in Portugal.
