Peach Carrot Broccoli Smoothie

peachsmoothie1

Remember that Pumpkin Seed Nut Milk I made awhile back? Well, turns out that milk is a GREAT smoothie milk! Not only is it creamier than other nut milks like walnut and Brazil nut, but it blends really well with harder, more cruciferous vegetables like broccoli! So, if you are wanting to make pumpkin seed milk but not sure what to do with it once it’s made, then I highly suggest you try this smoothie with it!

This smoothie is packed full with ingredients, and they all mix together quite well! Since there is milk in this recipe, you can even go farther as to add your own vegan protein powder or superfood blend to the mix! It would make a great addition to your already nutrient dense smoothie!

So without further ado…let us begin!

You will need:

  • 3 bananas (frozen works great)
  • 3 peaches
  • 2 peeled carrots
  • about 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 3 to 4 cups pumpkin seed nut milk
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • optional: Stevia and/or protein powder

Directions:

Put your bananas, peaches, nut milk, hemp and chia seeds into your high powered blender. Blend on high, feeding the carrots and broccoli into the blender slowly, to make sure everything is mixed together.

Once the mixture is fully blended, pour into your glass, top with some more peaches or bananas, and drink up! This is a great breakfast smoothie or any meal replacement smoothie.
