Natural Gatorade Smoothie

This is an all-natural Gatorade smoothie, made with fresh fruit and veggies. You get the nutrients and hydration from the fruits and veggies, and the electrolytes from the coconut water. One taste and you will wonder why anyone even buys that stuff from the store anyway!

Let us begin!

You will need:

– 2 oranges

– 1 to 2 tangerines

– 1 grapefruit

– 2 cups carrots

– 2 cups pineapple (fresh or frozen)

– 1 can of coconut water (17.5 fl. oz. or about 2 cups)

– about a 1 inch slice of turmeric root

– tiny slice of ginger (optional, if you want an extra kick!)

Begin by cutting up the fruit and carrots, and place them in the blender. Add the coconut water on top, and blend until smooth and creamy:

If you want more liquid, add more coconut water or water. Pour into a glass and drink up! This is an amazing refreshing taste and the color is so vibrant…you will love it!
