Banana Kiwi Smoothie Bowl

Summer is a great time to take advantage of the many frozen dessert options eating raw vegan gives you! You don’t have to save your sweet treats for dessert only, now you can eat it FOR lunch! Here is another refreshing smoothie bowl recipe that you can use for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Let us begin!

You will need:

– 5 frozen bananas

– 3 fresh (or frozen) kiwis

– 1 to 2 cups walnut milk (or any other milk substitute. To find recipes on how to make your own nut milks, click here)

– 2 tbsp. coconut sugar

– 1 tbsp. spirulina powder

– 1 tbsp. organic wheatgrass powder

– 1 tbsp. maca powder

– 1 tbsp. hemp seeds

– 1 tbsp. chia seeds

And as an option, you can throw in a couple fresh kale leaves or a handful of spinach!

Blend all ingredients together in your high powered blender. This mixture should be very thick and creamy! Pour into a bowl, top with shredded coconut, goji berries and raw cacao nibs as pictured, or come up with any of your own mixtures!
