Mango Ginger Pear Smoothie

Another tasty breakfast smoothie! This one is versatile as well, meaning that you can make this with or without milk. I’ve done it both ways and it came out lovely! I recommend hemp seed milk for this recipe, and if you have never made hemp seed milk before, please click this link for more information!

You can also add protein powder to this smoothie if you want, or add a little lemon for an extra kick and healing properties. Whatever you decide, you have to try this smoothie!

So without further ado….let us begin!

You will need:

  • 2 cups frozen mango
  • 3 to 4 pears
  • 1 two inch piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 to 3 cups hemp seed milk (or water)
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 2 large handfuls of kale
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • optional: protein powder

Put all the ingredients except the kale in your high speed blender. Blend on high until everything is mixed, then start to feed the kale into the blender. Once everything is blended, pour into a glass and drink!
