I recently came into possession of two large boxes of blueberries, thanks to the one day sale at Whole Foods, where I was able to buy an entire case of organic blueberries for $21 bucks (regular price would be about $60). So, I have been whipping up all kinds of blueberry delights.
This is THE BEST ice cream recipe, three ingredients only, no added sugars and soooo easy to make!
In your food processor, put in:
– 3 frozen bananas, cut up and evenly distributed in your food processor or blender
– 1 (or more) 11 pint case of organic blueberries
You will also need 1/3 cup raw cacao nibs for our chocolate chips to add in later.
And that’s it! Now we are going to pulse/blend the bananas and blueberries together, until they become one beautiful, purple, creamy mixture.
After that, we will add the raw cacao nibs, and pulse blend again, just briefly, as you don’t want to blend up chocolate chips:
Once the cacao nibs are mixed in, you can spoon it out and serve, or put it in the freezer to harden it up more. Me personally, I just like to dish it out, top with more chocolate chips and blueberries, and eat away.
That’s it! Three ingredients, total prep time 5 minutes. Perfect, simple, delicious and nutritious!

I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very
easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often.
Did you hire out a designer to create your
theme? Great work!
Thank you! And no, I didn’t, this is all me! I just chose one of the layouts from Word Press and tweaked it to fit what I needed. Glad you are enjoying the site!
