Blueberry Coconut Smoothie


This smoothie can be made 1 of 2 ways. You can either use a can of coconut milk, or use the meat and coconut water from an actual coconut. Either way, this is a delicious creamy smoothie, which can also be made into a protein smoothie with the addition of a protein powder of your choice.

You can also choose to use fresh blueberries, or frozen ones. If using fresh, you may want to add a few ice cubes to give it that refreshing cold smoothie taste.

Without further ado..let us begin!

You will need:

  • 1 can full fat or low fat coconut milk, or
    • the water and 1/2 of the meat of 1 fresh coconut
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 cups water or nut milk of your choice
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • Optional:
    • 1 scoop protein powder
    •  3 to 4 ice cubes

Blend all ingredients together in your high power blender, until the mix is fully blended and creamy. Pour into a glass, top with more blueberries and some coconut, drink up!
