This is a perfect winter smoothie, works great as a meal replacement, and it tastes exactly like apple pie! You can make this smoothie with any milk (I use my coconut walnut milk, as that is my favorite!), substitute the apples for pears, the pear for apples, as well as add supplements to it such as protein powder, maca, coconut or anything else you feel like!
Let us begin!
You will need:
– 3 cored apples
– 1 pear (or more, if you want. You can also substitute the pear for apples or the apples for the pear)
– 10 dates (soaked in water for about 30 minutes to soften them)
– 1 1/2 cups walnut milk
– 1 cup water
– 1/2 tsp cinammon
– 1/2 tsp nutmeg
– 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
Blend on high for about 1 minute. You can also add ice if you want the smoothie to be more frosty-like.
Pour into a glass, sprinkle the top with cinnamon and drink up!
