Yes, you read that right. A radish smoothie. This is only for a few brave souls. I had a bunch of radishes in my fridge, and I thought, well, it’s too much for a salad…why not try a smoothie? So I did…and the result was interesting, to say the least. This is definitely an acquired taste, but I am including it anyway, as you have really never had anything like it!
If you love radishes and/or are adventurous in new tastes…please enjoy! 🙂
You will need:
– 1 1/2 cups chopped radishes
– 2 cups almond milk
– 5 to 6 pitted dates
– 1 tsp vanilla
Throw it all in the blender, and blend! The consistency is great, the taste just has that slight burning radish flavor. It’s really not that bad, but personally, I’ll stick with radishes in my salads and snack salads with lemon 😉
